150825 Believing

Mar 11:23,24
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
No stress, no strain. Simply believe.

  1. Is your comment coming from a particular philosophy or religion or denominational Christiandom? My standard is the Word of God as it has been studied in as close to the original languages as possible, which sets me and my fellows apart from the vast majority of those who call themselves, "Christian". In light of this thorough study of the Word, your statement seems to jumble the separate concepts of the faith of Jesus Christ with a person's ability to believe. When our believing lines up with the Word of God, (which when read as written is the Will of God), then a Christian may access the Faith of Jesus Christ and move mountains, as stated here in Mark 11. The peace of God passes all understanding, (Philippians 4:6). Peace guards believing. The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of humans, (1 Corinthians 1:20-25). Believing is a powerful tool that anyone, even non-Christians can use, but when it is coupled with the power of Christ within and has the full backing of the True God, then there is no stopping it. THAT is what is beyond the power of reason.

BTW, your link did not work.
